Zigong's annual lantern festival starts trial run

Known as the “World’s No.1 Lantern Festival,” the 2025 Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival held a trial opening on Monday night. This year’s event features more than 200 groups of lanterns in seven themed exhibition areas, showcasing Zigong’s thousand-year-old lantern making techniques and the rich culture of Sichuan. The event is scheduled to officially open on Friday.
