At Wuyi Mountain National Park, the ecological environment is in excellent condition. Inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List in 1999, the forests in Wuyi Mountain are well protected with many animal species thriving. Tourists can take a bamboo raft and drift down the river to experience the natural scenery. The mountain is an example of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
