Tieguodun, or iron pot stew, is a popular dish across northeast China. In Harbin, tieguodun restaurants are popular places to eat. Using a cast-iron wok or pot, chefs stew potatoes and meat until tender, with the most popular options being pork or goose stew. Portions are big, so be sure to bring some friends!
