The Fairy Pool: A sea of inlaid jade in the mountains

Located in the southern range of the Minshan Mountains in Sichuan, Fairy Pool is a scenic area on a par with Jiuzhaigou Valley and the Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area. It is renowned for its clear alpine lakes and calcareous ponds surrounded by lush mountain forests. Seen from above, they seem like jade strings inlaid into the mountains.
