A giant loong (dragon)-themed lantern was illuminated at Shanghai’s iconic Yuyuan Garden on January 20 as a preview for the annual lantern fair, which will officially begin on Sunday evening. Crowds of visitors flocked to the attraction to take photos and soak up the New Year atmosphere. A series of artistic installations have been set up in and around the garden to create a fabulous festive atmosphere ahead of Spring Festival.
