In Shannan City, southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region, the 2024 Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival was marked with joyful celebrations. Local folk troupes from across the region showcased vibrant song and dance performances, reflecting the joy of harvest in the region’s farming and pastoral communities.
September 22 marked the seventh year of this national festival celebrating an abundance of fruit and grain. A diverse range of festivities were held across the country to share the happiness of a bountiful harvest. More than 3,000 events were held both online and offline, involving millions of people and creating a festive atmosphere across the country.
