To promote the local cuisine and boost consumption, a gourmet food festival has been held in the Yiling District of Yichang, Hubei Province. A giant hot pot soon took center stage at the festival on Monday, where several chefs cooked beef meatballs with various vegetables and seasonings in the 1.5-meter-high by 3-meter-wide hot pot. The chefs then offered the dish to locals and tourists to sample for free.
