In a move set to boost tourism, New Zealand’s immigration department announced that, starting in November 2025, Chinese travelers holding valid Australian visitor, work, student, or family visas will be eligible to apply for a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) visitor visa when departing from Australia. This means visitors can enter New Zealand without a traditional visa and stay for up to three months, providing easier access to the country’s stunning natural attractions.
