Disney characters, dressed in Chinese-style costumes, celebrated the Spring Festival with visitors to Shanghai Disney Resort on Chinese New Year’s Day. Mushu, the beloved Chinese dragon from the Disney animated film “Mulan” joined the celebrations for the Year of the Dragon. The Chinese New Year celebrations at Shanghai Disneyland began on January 18 and will continue until the Lantern Festival on February 24, with special fireworks shows being held from Chinese New Year’s Eve on February 9 to February 24.
