Large swathes of marigold flowers, a traditional Chinese medicine, have bloomed at a cultivation base in a village in Shandan County, Gansu Province. The golden sea of flowers attracted flocks of visitors to take photos with them. Through the combination of agriculture and tourism, locals have developed a thriving cultivation industry that has helped many people improve their incomes.
