As the sunflower seeds ripen in the summer heat, flocks of birds – including greenfinches and sparrows – have arrived at the Malanwei Wetland Park in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, in search of a feast. The park’s sunflower fields have become a seasonal haven for these feathered visitors. They occasionally engage in playful skirmishes over the ripest seeds, adding life to the golden landscape.
