Let’s take a closer look at the confirmed list of motorcycles set to hit the roads this year.
1. Kinetic E-Luna

Kinetic Green is reviving the iconic Luna moped in an electric avatar with the E-Luna. Retaining the practical design of its predecessor, this electric moped promises simplicity and efficiency. It promises an impressive range of up to 100 km, but a top speed of just 50 kmph. Pre-bookings are open for just Rs 500, and the launch is expected to happen in the coming days.
2. Hero Mavrick 440

Hero MotoCorp is set to launch the Mavrick 440, a retro-modern cruiser equipped with a powerful 440cc engine. It is built on the same platform as the Harley-Davidson X440, featuring the same engine as well, but in a slightly different tune. Boasting a distinctive design featuring LED lighting and a muscular fuel tank, the Mavrick will offer a blend of style and performance. Its launch is slated for April 2024, and the price is expected to be lower than its Harley-Davidson counterpart.
3. Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE

Suzuki Motorcycle India recently presented the V-Strom 800 DE at the Bharat Mobility Expo, with its launch expected around mid-2024. This middleweight adventure bike is poised to conquer both city streets and off-road terrain, thanks to its rugged chassis and potent 776cc engine. Apart from delivering impressive performance, this Suzuki ADV will offer advanced features like a bi-directional quickshifter, TFT instrument console, Drive Mode Selector, Traction Control System, and two-level ABS.
4. Suzuki GSX-8R

Joining the V-Strom on the stage at the Bharat Mobility Expo was the aggressive-looking GSX-8R. Sharing the same engine as the V-Strom 800 DE (but with better performance, thanks to lighter weight), this middle-weight sportsbike offers a sharp design, LED lighting, and a sporty yet comfortable riding position. The GSX-8R is sure to attract riders seeking a blend of performance and style, without spending the big bucks that superbikes demand.
5. Yamaha YZF-R7

Yamaha India showcased the YZF-R7 at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024, giving rise to excitement among performance enthusiasts across the country. Everyone’s waiting for Yamaha to re-enter the high-performance segment in the Indian market, and it will likely happen with the R7 later this year. Powered by a potent 689cc engine, the R7 offers impressive performance and handling characteristics, along with a throaty exhaust note.
6. Yamaha MT-07

Alongside the R7, Yamaha also unveils the MT-07, R7’s streetfighter twin. This naked street bike features a flat wide handlebar with an aggressive design, providing riders with a thrilling urban riding experience. The MT-07, powered by the same 689cc engine as the R7, emphasizes versatility and agility, making it an ideal choice for riders who seek an exhilarating yet practical two-wheeler instead of a supersport.
