The highly anticipated third-gen Renault Duster will launch in India next year. Taking design inspiration from the Dacia Bigster, the SUV will receive an updated cabin along with new features
French car manufacturer Renault is working to introduce the third-gen Duster in the Indian market next year. After being unveiled as a Dacia-badged model in November 2023, the all-new Renault Duster’s images leaked online three months back. The company said that the new Duster will play a significant role in its new growth strategy for India, called Renaulution. Ahead of its India launch next year, here is everything you need to know about the all-new Duster.
New-gen Renault Duster: Design
The new-gen Duster shares the design similarities with the Dacia Bigster concept. With boxy proportions, the all-new Renault Duster comes equipped with sleeker-looking headlamps, Y-shaped LED DRLs, large air dam, circular fog lamps and a chiselled bonnet.
One of the unique design elements is ‘Renault’ lettering on the front grille. At the sides, the all-new Duster receives 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, squared-off wheel arches, plastic cladding in the lower part and roof rails. Another notable change is rear door handles that are now placed on C-pillar. The rear profile gets a chunkier skid plate and Y-shaped LED tail-lamps.
New-gen Renault Duster: Interior
On the interior front, the 2025 Renault Duster will get a redesigned cabin with numerous features, such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a six-speaker Arkamys sound system, wireless charging and cruise control, among others. Furthermore, the central console sports AC vents and controls for HVAC and infotainment system. For charging, the SUV will also receive a 12V socket and two Type-C charging ports.
New-gen Renault Duster: Powertrain
In the European market, the third-gen Renault Duster is offered in various engine options. Mated with two electric motors, the SUV gets a 1.6-litre petrol hybrid engine, producing 140 PS power. This engine also comes with a 1.2 kWh battery as well as regenerative braking.
On the other hand, a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine is coupled with a 48V mild-hybrid system, cumulatively generating 130 PS power. Moreover, the all-new Duster also comes propelled by a 1.0-litre petrol-LPG option. The SUV will get five terrain modes – Snow, Auto, Off-Road, Eco and Mud/Sand.
