The South Korean auto major has endured robust momentum courtesy of its SUV range. It contributed to more than 60 per cent of the overall sales. The Hyundai Exter has undoubtedly been the most significant launch of this calendar year and its overall bookings have crossed the one lakh mark. For 2024, Hyundai has more new products waiting in the pipeline.

The heavily updated Creta will go on sale in early 2024 in India. It will get a thoroughly redesigned front fascia and rear end while the interior will become more upmarket with the addition of new features and technologies including Level 2 ADAS. While the 1.5L petrol and 1.5L diesel engines will continue, a new 1.5L turbo petrol mill will join the lineup.

It produces a maximum power output of 160 PS and 253 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is mated to a six-speed iMT or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic unit. The updated Tucson made its global debut a few days ago and it could be introduced in late 2024.
