Kunming lantern show set to dazzle park visitors

Dragons, goddesses, fish: these are some of the auspicious figures that an upcoming lantern exhibition has in store for park visitors in Kunming, Yunnan. The 2024 Dianchi Night Banquet – Daguanlou Lantern Exhibition is expected to combine the beauty of views of Dianchi Lake with the night sky and ornate, festive lanterns. Each year at Spring Festival, Kunming locals visit the city’s Daguan Park for night walks amid the glow of the lanterns and the moon. The show will run from February 3 to 27.
