The Spanish tactician looks to continue his fine run at the helm of the French Capital City outfit at the revamped FIFA Club World Cup in the USA.

PSG head coach Luis Enrique, who helped the Parisian side to their maiden UEFA Champions League victory, looks to add to the team’s burgeoning trophy cabinet as the revamped edition of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 gets underway in the United States of America on the 15th of June.
Enrique inspired PSG to a 5-0 decimation of Inter Milan in the final of the elite European continental tournament in Munich to clinch the coveted piece of silverware. And the Spanish tactician looks to continue his fine run at the helm of the French Capital City outfit.
“I think it is an incredible competition,” the PSG boss said ahead of the FIFA CWC curtain-raiser.
“The tournament itself is a really attractive prospect,” he added.

PSG clinched the Ligue 1 title in addition to the Coupe de France, Trophee des Champions and the UCL trophies and will be on the look for their fifth piece of silverware of the season as Enrique asserted ahead of the marquee event.
“Our aim is to be competitive and try to win a fifth trophy of the season,” the 55-year-old stated.

Desire Doue starred with a brace, while Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu all also found the back of the net in an emphatic performance to give the Qatari-owned side their first-ever Champions League title.
Enrique emphasised on the importance of mitigating fatigue at the end of a long and remarkable season for the Parisians ahead of the 32-team group and knock out tournament.
“We have to strike the balance between managing the physical and mental fatigue we’re experiencing now at the end of a long season and harnessing the motivation that comes with being involved in the competition,” the PSG boss added.
PSG are grouped alongside Spanish giants Atletico Madrid, Brazilian side Botafogo and American outfit Seattle Sounders in Group B of the FIFA CWC 2025.
