The Yabuli Ski Resort in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, bustles with excitement with the approach of the 9th Asian Winter Games. Hundreds of young skiers from southern China, affectionately nicknamed “Little Potatoes,” took to the slopes, dressed in colorful ski gear. Laughter and cheers filled the air as these beginners bravely navigated the snowy trails – some stumbling, others gliding down successfully.
