Can you imagine enjoying king crabs and hairy crabs like a street snack? In Harbin’s Central Avenue, visitors can enjoy various kinds of tanghulu, a popular street snack traditionally made of candied haws on a stick. Besides fruits like haws, strawberries and grapes, different kinds of vegetables and ingredients such as eggplants, cucumbers, chili peppers and even sausages were candied and then sold at the commercial pedestrian street.
